The startup from Vienna was founded in 2016, and since the end of 2017 the chocolate bar has been available on the Austrian market in two variants, chocolate and raspberry. Startup has launched on the market a healthy snack alternative, as the 30 g chocolate bar Neoh CrossBar contains only one gram of sugar, despite its sweet taste.

As the startup announced, seven million units have been sold since its launch - including about two million in the first ten weeks of 2019. For 2019, they have set even more ambitious goal of selling around 13 million bars.
Neoh is now one of the most frequently purchased individual bars in eastern Austria at Spar. In addition to Spar, their chocolate bar is also available at Branches of Austrian Post, gas station shops of OMV and Eni, as well as numerous gyms, from where the startup has entered into a distribution partnership.
Expansion to new markets
The focus of Austrian startup is to enter German market and to further expand in Austria. Potential markets are also Spain, Russia and several Arabic countries.
