micardo brings the car to your door
"We have made an important step forward and are very excited about the investment. We are absolutely confident that we will achieve our goals. At the moment there’s a lot going on, which we clearly see in the growing number of users of our platform," says co-founder Schwarzenberger. In the past two years, the three founders have built an international platform that will make it easy for car seekers to find the right used car. The goal is to give users access to the entire European vehicle market. To ensure reliability fake offers will be screened out using machine learning technologies. With micardo you can have the car delivered to your front door, an offer which according to Business Angel Maximilian Seidel currently does not exist on the market.
New target markets and offers on the horizon
According to the founders, Austria remains the target market for the time being, but there are other countries that they would like to enter in the coming years. The range of services will also be increased, according to co-founder Florian König. The company wants to expand its network on a large scale. Throughout Europe, many car dealerships, testing service providers and transport companies are already cooperating with them. "We are developing well, and have just hired a new employee. If we continue to increase our sales with this speed, we will be very satisfied," says Stefan Fedl, co-founder and initiator of the business idea.
