The Long Night of Research is Austria's largest research event. In 2016, 8,000 enthusiastic visitors came to the university and Lakeside Park to experience first hand research. In 2018, they will offer 101 exciting stations for the whole family on some 130,000 m², an SMS raffle with great prizes and free bus shuttles from many district capitals. The entry is free, from 4 PM till 11 PM.
